Black bears are majestic creatures that command respect. They are enormous, tipping the scales upwards of 300 pounds and standing as tall as 5.9 feet on average. They inhabit heavily forested areas, as well as dense bush and wooded mountains, making Canada the perfect retreat for these creatures. Though their scientific name is Ursus Americanus, they are most abundant in Canada. In fact, Canada is home to the world’s largest population of black bears. Ontario has a population of around 100,000 bears while neighboring Quebec exceeds that number just slightly. Nearly all parts of Canada are inhabited by this majestic creature making black bear hunting in Canada truly a national sport.

The North American black bear is generally a solitary creature as well as nocturnal. The bears are omnivores meaning they eat a mixture of meat, vegetation, and insects. Approximately 1-5 cubs are born every second year per mature female, making these bears quite abundant and sometimes nuisance-causing, which has leads to the importance of hunting. The methods of hunting are quite numerous. All forms such as bows, black powder, and muzzle loaders are effective in providing a clean shot. It is important to get a good first shot because bears run once wounded. They will typically keep running until they die, which can be upwards of 20 miles if they’re bleeding slowly, making it quite difficult to track and find.

Black bears are no doubt beautiful creatures that exude regality about them that no other animal can. This is why black bear hunting is so prevalent; it’s about that trophy kill for many. There is quite possibly no better place than Canada to experience these majestic bears in their natural habitat. Bear hunting in Quebec Canada can help make the dream of having such a trophy a reality. You can’t go wrong with choosing a professional outfitter to help in your quest of acquiring perhaps the grandest trophy in your collection. They know exactly what you need to do in order to have a successful kill. They also have experience in tracking wounded bears to make sure that you get your trophy.

Harold Sterling is a hunting enthusiast with many years of experience. He enjoys hunting in Canada primarily because of the beautiful scenery and the abundance of wild game. Though he loves to hunt, he has a lazy personality and also gets fairly upset when things don’t go his way. To ensure he gets his trophy each and every time he heads out on a hunt, he looks to professional outfitters to provide him with the best experience possible.

Canada occupies most of North America and is, size-wise, the second largest country in the world. There is nothing small about Canada and this makes it the ideal place for broadening horizons, traveling adventurously, and learning all about a country and its culture passionately.

When Is the Best Time to Go?

Summer begins in late May and ends in mid-September. Fall is from mid-September to mid-November. Winter starts mid-November and ranges on until mid-March. Finally, spring lasts from mid-March until late May. Canada’s tourism peaks from mid-June to mid-September. During these months, travels and accommodations are relatively more expensive.

In deciding when to go to Canada, you have to review your reasons for going. Are you going to Canada for the skiing or for the opening of the ice hotels? Then, winter is the perfect time for you to go. If, on the other hand, your reasons include outdoor activities, such as hiking, boating, or fishing, schedule your visit during spring or fall. No matter what season you schedule your visit for, there will always be a deluge of luxury vacation rentals Canada tourists such as yourself can temporarily call home.

What Does One Do in Canada?

There are many things to do in Canada. You could catch a chinook on the Campbell River, also known as the Salmon Capital of the World. You could join the seemingly endless merrymaking at the Carnaval de Quebec. You could try being a ski bunny at the Whistler, Blackcomb. You could skate through town on the Rideau Canal Skateway, too. You could look for bears in Manitoba. You could go on a wine tour in the Okanagan. You could spend hours scrutinizing the Haida Totem poles. Or, you could live in the pages of Lucy Maud Montgomery’s book by pretending to be Anne of Green Gables. The list of activities is endless!

Where Is the Best Place to Stay?

In Canada, it isn’t possible for one to run out of things to do or places to visit. After all, there is nothing small about Canada, and there shouldn’t be anything small about your Canadian vacation, too. Go all out in your accommodations and splurge on the luxury vacation rentals Canada’s different cities have to offer.

Luxury vacation rentals, Canada travel agencies will tell you, are a sure way to enjoy your vacation comfortably. Not only will you be staying in a fully-furnished, upscale apartment, you may choose to take on a maid and a driver. There are other services available for tenants, too, and some sites online, such as http://www.Holiday4You.com, discuss these in detail.

One good thing about the luxury vacation rentals Canada’s cities have to tourists is proximity to tourist spots. Another is quick availability. With only 30 million people living in such a huge country, you can be sure there is a glut of lodging options for the well-heeled and selective. You can take your pick among the many luxury vacation rentals Canada-based firms and homeowners have put on the market.

Looking for luxury vacation rentals Canada cities offer? Visit Holiday4you.com to help you plan your next vacation.

Whether your looking for luxury vacation homes or looking for vacation rentals london has to offer, Holiday4you.com can assist you with your needs.

If a person living in the United States is looking for anything more affordable than what is locally available, he or she may look beyond its borders. And there’s no better or easier way to do it than online. When it comes to things like products, services, and even education in the form of online courses, Canada is a popular destination for United States residents.

Understandably, many online courses Canada-based are geared specifically for the use of Canadian citizens. The Canadian government places a great importance in workforce training, as evidenced by its public service programs. In the middle of 2007 the Canadian government invested $425,000 in online courses specifically to help working immigrants better adapt to the local culture, as well as the culture of the workplace they happen to be in, even before they step onto Canadian soil.

However, that doesn’t mean you can’t get anyting from Canadian online courses if you aren’t based in Canada. You may be a foreign student who is thinking of migrating to Canada, or a person who only seeks to learn from a website that offers lessons on fundamental knowledge and skills, like bookkeeping and basic business administration. These skills are often not regionally restrictive, meaning only Canadian citizens, or a resident of a specific part of Canada, may benefit from them. Some of them may be, but you can easily know which these are by reading the basic course outlines before signing up.

Some courses are even free; you need only provide your email address, and the lessons will be delivered to your inbox. Of course, these courses are simply email courses and do not offer certification; they only provide the basic knowledge that you may need to get a leg up in your chosen profession. However, if you wish to obtain an advanced or higher education, you must sign up for certificate courses, which do not come free. This is an investment you have the option to take online.

Some big universities in Canada offer diplomas through distance (online) education. If you are interested in acquiring a masters degree or a second bachelors degree from a Canadian university, look into the fees and requirements for applying for distance education with the Canadian university of your choice.

Bear in mind, of course, that some trade courses may offer lessons that do not apply in your state. If you take online courses Canada-based, India-based or in any other location, you run the risk of being exposed solely to region-sensitive information. You may discover that some aspects of a course would not apply to your local working environment, such as the laws governing performance and accountability – and if this is the case, you would do better to seek online education from a local academic or training establishment.

Get ahead by taking online classes, Bestwebschool.com offers you a chance to get informed on ao. online courses canada. Go to http://www.bestwebschool.com for more information

For thousands of people around the world, Canada is the immigrant’s dream
destination. Welcoming people, lack of racial tensions, a booming economy and excellent school and healthcare systems add up to a country they would love to call home.

Sounds wonderful? Are you asking yourself right now: “How do I get started?”

Unfortunately, a lot of people fall into the trap of pushing ahead with their
applications without asking themselves a far more basic question, which is: “Is
Canada right for me?”

They move to Canada having done little real research, without truly understanding
the difficulties they might face and what they need to do to overcome them. The
result is often frustration, disappointment and worry as their drain their bank
accounts while trying to get settled in.

Make no mistake, Canada holds many wonderful opportunities for immigrants, but
it takes a lot more than a permanent resident’s visa to succeed.

Research into every aspect of Canadian life, and preparation for what you can
expect here are key to settling in. With that in mind, let’s dispel any illusions you
might have about the country and do a reality check on what life is really like for
new immigrants:

How easy is it to get started?

The answer to this question depends on whom you ask. When researching for a
feature article for The
Essential Guide on Moving to Canada, most people admitted the first year is
almost always the
most difficult. Few are so lucky as to immediately land the job of their dreams. Many
don’t even get a job in the early months after the move to Canada, and if they do, it
is in a field totally different from what they have worked in.

Assuming the worst, you will need to have enough funds to tide you and your family
over for at least a few months. Citizenship and Immigration Canada insists on a
transfer of around C$10,000-$15,000 when you move to the country (the figures
vary depending on the size of your family). Our advice however is to work out
approximately how much you will need to support you and your family for the first
six months (and that includes rent/mortgage, initial ’setting-up-home’ expenses,
groceries, travel and other costs), and put that aside as a ’start-up’ fund.

In most cases, the going gets easier over time. People find better-paying jobs or
earn promotions, having overcome the ‘Canadian experience’ hurdle. As you
become more comfortable in your new surroundings, your circle of friends will
grow, you will develop your own favourite places to shop and find new avenues of
entertainment.

Even misfortunes like losing a job will not seem an outright tragedy once you are
entitled to benefits such as unemployment insurance.

The trick really is to make sure you have enough funds to tide you over the crucial
early months – basically prepare for the worst while hoping for the best.

Are jobs easy to come by?

The question of jobs is paramount in the minds of most immigrants, which is why
we have devoted an entire chapter to it. It’s often a matter of talent, timing and
luck. You should be willing to ‘reinvent’ yourself to find a job that requires your
knowledge and skills if work isn’t available in your own field.

Immigrant stories on the job front are so varied that it would be unfair to
generalize. Some find jobs almost immediately after they arrive, others wait several
months before even getting a call for an interview. It must be said though that for
most skilled immigrants, finding employment is usually just a matter of time.

What about education?

Education standards in Canada are excellent. Schooling is free, but college and
university education is expensive. Many teenagers take up summer jobs to help pay
their way through college and student loans are also available.

There are also several institutions that offer special interest courses for children and
adults. Many immigrants enrol themselves in evening or night courses to polish
their skills in subjects that might help promote themselves better in the job market.

Canadian winters? Brrrr!

Canadian winters are a huge source of concern for most immigrants, especially
those from countries where it never snows. There is no denying that the winter
months are bitterly cold. However, so long as you are properly attired when
outdoors and your home and car is equipped for the season, there is no cause for
alarm. Many immigrants are surprised by how well they cope with winter in Canada,
and children especially have a ball in the snow.

There will always be days when the weather is especially rough (usually when it’s
both cold and windy), but then which part of the world doesn’t have its bad days?

If below freezing temperatures are too chilling a prospect for you, look at setting up
home in a city nearer the West Coast. Vancouver, for example, rarely has snow and
temperatures below 0 Celsius are unusual.

Will I be able to adjust to life in Canada? Will I lose my ethnic identity?

Adjusting to the Canadian way of life really depends on the immigrant’s background
and his or her willingness to make the change. It helps to have a spirit of adventure
and the readiness for a challenge. There are many aspects of life in Canada that you
might find different from what you are used to – whether it pertains to job-hunting,
buying a home or socialising.

Having said that, it is not in the least bit true that you will start to lose your identity
or sense of roots. Immigration levels in Canada are high, and some 250,000 new
immigrants set foot on Canadian soil each year. So don’t be surprised when you find
yourself surrounded by people of your own race, creed or colour at work, on the
roads or at the malls.

Canada respects all religions and cultures, and whether you go to a church, temple,
mosque or gurudwara, you will likely find a place of worship near you.

There are several clubs and associations that cater to individual communities or
nationalities as well as organisations that help new immigrants adjust to life in
Canada, so look at using these services.

There are even television and radio networks which broadcast programmes in ethnic
languages, and as for films, we’d be surprised if you didn’t find what you were
looking for at a neighbourhood video store!

The United States of America is very interested in maintaining its advantage in current lead in high-tech fields and scientific discovery. However other fast-moving superpowers of the future such as India and China are hot on the trail to become the number one nations for innovation. Larger countries with more population have more people to draw from in order to find the geniuses and allow their creative genius to flourish within their societies.

Smaller countries have to work twice as hard or three times as hard in order to propel a higher percentage of brilliant and or geniuses to the levels needed to make large numbers of scientific breakthroughs. It has been noted that certain types of countries and government structures such as capitalism work much better in promoting people with entrepreneurial and innovative talents. Both India and China have significant population bases to draw from, so they have some good opportunities ahead.

What about a small country like Canada? Canada is working very hard to modify its populations to become a knowledge society. Will this work? It may and it depends very much on how they go about things, however they have one disadvantage and that is they are running a country that is much more socialistic in nature. Do you believe that Canada has a chance in achieving what the United States has achieved in innovation with its small population?

Actually know I do not, I do not believe that Canada could ever catch the United States of America or even get close, but I would say that Canada working with the United States can join in much of the fruits of both of our labors in the fields of scientific discovery.

Canada, our closest neighbor to the north, is full of fun possibilities for you and your family to experience. Everywhere you turn holds another discovery, whether it’s Canada’s long colorful history or a testament to their rich heritage. With the recently new creation of the passport card, families can access Canada’s treasure trove of fun family experiences without breaking the bank. If you are looking for a place to take your family without spending too much, Canada offers tons of exciting opportunities.

Canada’s history goes back over 26,000 years ago when the Aboriginal Paleo-Indians roamed the land. Regarded as Canada’s first discoverers, these people harness the land and adapted to the harsh environment, and they are still around today. Their cultural influence is vast and is seen in much of North America’s culture, from lacrosse to maple syrup. Music, art, dance, and languages still flourish even in Canada’s city life. With such a prominent influence still felt today, a trip to Canada quickly becomes a very unique experience.

Canada is only a road trip away; no need to purchase airplane tickets or rent a car, making it a great place for a family vacation. The passport card, a new variation of the original passport book, allows a family to travel for much cheaper than usual. The passport card, available for $30, is a fourth of the price of a passport book, and allows a family to travel by land or sea for less money. Saving this money helps reduce the cost of vacation, making a relaxing get away that much more accessible.

Canada’s rugged terrain makes for a great adventure with your whole family. Arctic safaris, as they are called, take you to a side of Canada many haven’t seen in Somerset Island, Nanevut. You can dig for fossils, hear belugas singing to each other, or see the seals playing in the water. Pitch your super-duty tent and try to stay up until the sun sets, which is at 2 am! Or, stay up even later and try to catch a glimpse of an aurora dancing in the sky.

If you live for a good party, Montreal is the place for you. With delicious food served in trendy modern restaurants, you will be ready to live the nightlife on style. World famous bars, lounges, and clubs populate the streets of Montreal, and with no need for a car, you and your friends can live it up. Spend some time at the Cirque du Soleil and witness first hand the extensive cultural scene that makes Montreal famous.

No trip to Canada is complete without a trip to Niagara Falls. Put on your poncho and head out on the Maid of the Mist to float under the Falls, or, if you prefer to stay dry, hop aboard a helicopter and see what a bird’s eye view of the Falls would look like. A world famous, family friendly landmark, Niagara Falls is a must-have for any visitor’s itinerary.

Although Canada is so close, its unique characteristics make it the perfect travel destination. You can feel like you’re experiencing a whole new world without having to step foot on a plane. All you need is a U.S. passport card and some warm clothes, and Canada will be sure to make itself memorable. Whatever you’re looking for – adventures, relaxation, family time – Canada can offer it. If you and your family need a get-away, grab your American passport and pack the car. Canada is calling.

Situated in the North American continent, Canada is the 2nd largest country in the world bordering with contiguous states of the United States of America in the south and the non-contiguous US state of Alaska in the northwest. The physical Map of Canada is bound by Atlantic Ocean in the east, Pacific Ocean in the west and Arctic Ocean in the North.

Politically, Canada is a Constitutional Monarchy with Queen Elizabeth II as the Head of State along with a federal system of parliament. The Canada County Map is composed of ten provinces and three territories which can be divided into further sub-divisions. The evolution of the geopolitical Map of Canada was a gradual process which resulted in the emergence of the current map with the inclusion of Newfoundland and Labrador as the tenth and final province of Canada in 1949.

Canada Mapped its way to the economic success to become one of the richest countries in the world in the last few decades with one of the highest GDP per capita to boast of. Its free-market economy facilitated rapid increase in employment levels, especially in the last two decades which helped Canada immensely in retaining its economic superiority over a large majority of European nations.

The enigmatic cultural Canada Map presents a multi-ethnic identity of the nation with most of its population growth in recent years being a result of continued immigration form other continents of the world. Mostly, economic factors are responsible for the high rate of immigration to this country.
