Physical Map of Canada
Situated in the North American continent, Canada is the 2nd largest country in the world bordering with contiguous states of the United States of America in the south and the non-contiguous US state of Alaska in the northwest. The physical Map of Canada is bound by Atlantic Ocean in the east, Pacific Ocean in the west and Arctic Ocean in the North.
Politically, Canada is a Constitutional Monarchy with Queen Elizabeth II as the Head of State along with a federal system of parliament. The Canada County Map is composed of ten provinces and three territories which can be divided into further sub-divisions. The evolution of the geopolitical Map of Canada was a gradual process which resulted in the emergence of the current map with the inclusion of Newfoundland and Labrador as the tenth and final province of Canada in 1949.
